Role overview
EFOR is hiring a hands-on DevOps Lead to support the engineering and delivery practices for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) programme in Limerick, Ireland. This position sits within a pharma and life sciences environment, where regulated delivery, reliability, and maintainability are essential.
What you will do
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast and dependable MES releases.
- Take ownership of DevOps toolchains, automation workflows, and cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
- Work closely with vendors and internal cross-functional teams on releases, configuration management, and overall system stability.
- Convert platform architecture into automated solutions that are maintainable over time.
- Strengthen monitoring, auditability, and adherence to relevant industry standards.
- Continuously look for ways to improve deployment speed, release frequency, and platform resilience.
What you should bring
- Demonstrated DevOps leadership experience in complex enterprise environments; exposure to regulated industries is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Ability to script and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Prior work with MES platforms, especially Syncade, or similar enterprise applications is strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and effective collaboration skills.
