Role overview

EFOR is hiring a hands-on DevOps Lead to support the engineering and delivery practices for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) programme in Limerick, Ireland. This position sits within a pharma and life sciences environment, where regulated delivery, reliability, and maintainability are essential.

What you will do

Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast and dependable MES releases.
Take ownership of DevOps toolchains, automation workflows, and cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
Work closely with vendors and internal cross-functional teams on releases, configuration management, and overall system stability.
Convert platform architecture into automated solutions that are maintainable over time.
Strengthen monitoring, auditability, and adherence to relevant industry standards.
Continuously look for ways to improve deployment speed, release frequency, and platform resilience.

What you should bring

Demonstrated DevOps leadership experience in complex enterprise environments; exposure to regulated industries is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Ability to script and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Prior work with MES platforms, especially Syncade, or similar enterprise applications is strongly preferred.
Strong troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and effective collaboration skills.
