Introduction

Google is offering a Data Analytics Apprenticeship program lasting two years designed to provide comprehensive learning and hands-on experience to individuals aiming to jumpstart their careers in data analytics. Apprentices are required to work onsite at one of the designated Google office locations in India including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. This full-time commitment involves approximately 40 hours per week, blending active project participation with structured training.

Program Details

During the apprenticeship, participants will spend 80% of their time engaged with live projects alongside Google teams and the remaining 20% focusing on a specialized training curriculum to build critical data analytics skills. The program supports professional growth through exposure to real-life business challenges and data-driven decision making.

Candidate Eligibility and Requirements

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of one year post-graduation experience related to data analytics.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools or comparable software.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication and comprehension of training materials.

Preferred attributes include:

• Interest and aptitude for working with numbers and recognizing patterns in data.
• Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively in team settings.
• Comfort navigating ambiguous assignments, problem solving, and seeking guidance when necessary.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of SQL programming language.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to detect anomalies and generate insightful documentation for knowledge sharing.
• Conduct customized analyses to deliver meaningful insights to Google's clients.
• Utilize data to measure the business impact of Google's media recommendations.
• Understand the complete data lifecycle and collaborate with different units to address data challenges.
• Develop proficiency in essential data analysis techniques and tools, including spreadsheets and programming languages for data organization and evaluation.

Additional Information

• Applicants can select their preferred working location from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai at the time of application.
• The apprenticeship is strictly a 24-month program without the option for location transfers once onboarded.
• This program is not a permanent employment position. Apprentices may apply for full-time roles at Google only during the last three months of the apprenticeship tenure.
