About the Position

The Santa Cruz Warriors seek a Coordinator to deliver administrative and project management support across their Business Operations department. This role involves managing daily collaborative efforts organization-wide, organizing internal and external meetings and communications, and executing events and projects. The Coordinator reports directly to the Team President and works onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main executive assistant to the Team President, coordinating a busy calendar, organizing strategic travel plans, and handling confidential correspondence to improve daily business activities.
  • Proactively oversee assigned projects and initiatives to ensure timely advancement and completion.
  • Coordinate meetings by managing calendar invitations, preparing and distributing agendas, and recording meeting notes and action items.
  • Support cross-departmental coordination on critical initiatives and special projects led by the Team President to maintain organizational alignment.
  • Plan and facilitate departmental meetings, off-site events, and community and volunteer activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Santa Cruz and Golden State teams concerning team member experience and internal events.
  • Manage office administrative tasks including supply inventory and restocking.
  • Submit expense reports promptly.
  • Assist with current and future department-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Attend all home games and special events held by the Santa Cruz Warriors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a fast-paced setting, preferably in sports or entertainment industries.
