Contract Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join us on a remote contract basis. The professional will be entrusted with producing, reviewing, and refining various legal agreements, ensuring that each adheres to current legal standards and industry best practices, and is suitable for practical commercial application.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and review high-caliber templates, sample documents, and annotated illustrations for agreements including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Lease Agreements, Intellectual Property Licensing Agreements, Marketing Agreements, and general Licensing Agreements.
• Ensure all contracts reflect the latest legal requirements, established industry standards, and practical commercial contexts.
• Deliver well-organized, quality documentation that will contribute to AI training data.
• Maintain clear and professional communication both verbally and in writing to elucidate requirements and confirm deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or recently practicing commercial lawyer with hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Familiarity with standard commercial contracts such as MSAs, leases, IP and marketing-related agreements.
• Excellent command of written and spoken language, ensuring precision and clarity in contract wording.
• Proven ability to tailor legal documents for realistic and applicable usage scenarios.
• Experience working independently in virtual team environments.
• Strong attention to detail to verify conformity with applicable laws and recognized best practices.
• Interest or experience in legal operations, technology, or AI-supported systems is advantageous.
