About the Role
Join the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) as a Contract Administrator, providing essential support for contract management, invoicing, financial reporting, and commercial operations within a Tier 1 defence infrastructure project. The RRJV, a 50/50 partnership between CPB Contractors and Downer, is responsible for major redevelopment works at three Department of Defence locations, including Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka), and RAAF Base Wagga. This extensive program involves a $2 billion capital investment focusing on constructing new accommodation and training facilities, upgrading existing buildings, and enhancing infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee client orders, supplier payments, and manage all contract-related documents.
- Prepare, verify, and issue invoices adhering to the terms of the head contract.
- Assist with project financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and reporting.
- Coordinate contract variations, notices, and manage securities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in contract administration or a closely related commercial role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract provisions, risk considerations, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) and familiarity with office IT systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written communication and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to operate proactively and flexibly while managing multiple competing priorities.
