Business Intelligence CRM Intern

Position Overview

This part-time internship offers an opportunity to support the development, administration, and optimization of the Salesforce CRM platform at the Los Angeles Chargers. Working closely with the Manager of Business Intelligence, the intern will assist with system administration, reporting, maintaining data integrity, user support, and improving processes. This internship is suited for students or recent graduates passionate about sports, CRM strategies, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Salesforce platform administration tasks including user accounts, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other routine functions.
• Support system setup and recommend improvements to the CRM platform concerning page layouts, fields, campaigns, workflows, triggers, and validation rules aligned with sales and service processes.
• Define, maintain, and enhance CRM workflows and system processes to boost operational efficiency.
• Conduct ongoing data analysis within the CRM, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and optimize data sources within the CRM, identifying effective use cases and areas for enhancement.
• Complete additional special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple concurrent requests effectively.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL querying within relational databases.
• Excellent organizational and communication capabilities for managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Competence in data management and understanding complex requirements.
• Recent completion or current enrollment in degree programs such as Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or related disciplines.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms and related business applications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce administration concepts including custom objects, fields, reports, dashboards, and workflow creation.
• Ability to design analytical dashboards using Salesforce or visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is advantageous.

Compensation and Work Environment

The position offers an hourly wage of $18.42 plus overtime.
