Overview
Join Gebrüder Weiss at our Auckland branch and advance your career as an experienced Business Development Manager in freight forwarding. This position involves actively expanding the sales pipeline by identifying and securing new profitable business opportunities across air and sea freight trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales for Air & Sea freight, Warehousing & Transport, and Coastal services.
- Formulate and execute strategies to nurture both new and existing client relationships.
- Conduct research to pinpoint sales pipelines and support targeted campaigns within vertical markets, products, and trade lanes.
- Maintain a strategically aligned pipeline of prospective customers that supports company goals.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding sector.
- Demonstrated success in uncovering new business prospects and cultivating client partnerships.
