Job Overview
As a Digital Business Controller, you will be instrumental in driving digital profitable growth within your region. Your role encompasses analyzing digital commercial performance, managing digital P&L, and collaborating with the regional commercial team to plan, forecast, and ensure financial results align with the set digital sales plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and maximize profitable net sales and expand the customer base by closely monitoring sales and customer behavior, both short-term and long-term within your region.
- Identify significant opportunities and risks for sales markets by emphasizing areas with high sales or customer impact; recommend commercial activities and assess final customer offers to improve future actions.
- Take ownership of digital budgets, accurate financial sales planning, forecasting, and holistic management of the digital P&L to guarantee delivery of financial targets for ecommerce.
- Plan, forecast, and track sales performance alongside commercial teams on weekly and daily levels, providing detailed evaluations against targets and communicating insights to stakeholders.
- Lead analytics and insights integration across sales and operations teams by merging data on traffic, web activity, customer receipts, and logistics to support continuous capability building.
Collaboration
You will work closely with digital teams including E-Com Leads and the E-com Commercial Manager.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree or relevant qualifications in business, economics, or business development.
- Exhibit strategic thinking to identify core drivers and strategies to optimize digital sales and overall omni-channel profitability.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with adeptness in synthesizing complex information and delivering actionable insights, complemented by excellent visualization and communication skills suited for diverse stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in sales analysis and digital tools including advanced Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents to interpret data effectively.
- Effective collaborator with strong stakeholder engagement abilities, experienced in influencing organizational priorities to drive profitability and omni profit growth.
