Job Overview

We seek a Business Analyst passionate about examining and improving business workflows. This role involves supporting internal IT applications as part of the IT Applications team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

A degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or Computer Science is required.
At least two years of experience in a Business Analyst role focusing on delivering and maintaining IT applications.
Proven ability to collect requirements, conduct gap analyses, and prepare comprehensive documentation.
A clear understanding of business needs with enthusiasm for business process evaluation and redesign.
Basic proficiency in SQL, including creating and interpreting queries.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills enabling effective stakeholder collaboration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to devise creative solutions.

Preferred Skills

Background in hospitality or leisure-related application domains.
Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users and product owners to gather requirements across multiple systems and platforms.
Ensure a shared understanding between developers and business users by accurately translating business needs.
Convert business requirements into detailed functional and technical documents.
Develop and execute test plans and manage User Acceptance Testing activities.
Monitor project status, issues, and risks, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
Support and manage multiple application systems simultaneously.
Comply with organizational and project standards and guidelines.
