Role overview

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an upbeat, self-driven baker to join its campus dining operation in Albany, Georgia. In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items each day for the collegiate setting at Albany State University.

Key duties

• Prepare baked goods by carefully following recipes and production instructions.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and maintain an orderly, sanitary work area.
• Track stock levels, place ingredient orders, and support regular inventory checks.

What the job requires

• Comfort working from recipes and following food safety, handling, and sanitation standards.
• Hands-on experience with different kitchen tools used in baking production.
• Solid basic math ability for inventory tasks, including ordering and stock control.
• Prior baking experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Compensation

Pay is listed at $12 to $17 per hour, depending on experience.
