Role overview

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an upbeat, self-driven baker to join its campus dining operation in Albany, Georgia. In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items each day for the collegiate setting at Albany State University.

Key duties

Prepare baked goods by carefully following recipes and production instructions.
Keep kitchen equipment clean and maintain an orderly, sanitary work area.
Track stock levels, place ingredient orders, and support regular inventory checks.

What the job requires

Comfort working from recipes and following food safety, handling, and sanitation standards.
Hands-on experience with different kitchen tools used in baking production.
Solid basic math ability for inventory tasks, including ordering and stock control.
Prior baking experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Compensation

Pay is listed at $12 to $17 per hour, depending on experience.
