Role Overview
The Operational Readiness Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of activities that prepare new assets, facilities, systems, or services for operational use. This position involves tracking readiness plans, collaborating closely with various stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring necessary documentation is complete to facilitate a smooth transition from project completion to operational status.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating plans, schedules, and tracking tools related to operational readiness.
- Work with internal teams to oversee readiness tasks and gather current status information.
- Monitor important readiness milestones, track actions, identify risks and issues, and highlight dependencies, escalating matters as necessary.
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate readiness status to management.
- Contribute to developing and reviewing operational procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and detailed work instructions.
- Organize and manage readiness workshops, meetings, and site visits, ensuring that actions and follow-ups are clearly recorded.
- Support testing-related activities such as operational trials, simulations, and various assessments of readiness.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including readiness evidence and project records.
- Ensure completeness of operational documentation prior to handover to operation teams.
- Collaborate closely with both project and operational teams to enable a seamless handover to day-to-day operations.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing readiness processes and reporting methods.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a similar discipline.
- Have 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in operational readiness, project management, operations, consulting, or related sectors.
- Understand basic project lifecycle phases and operational handover procedures.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities along with problem-solving skills.
