Job Objective
The Advisor to the Deputy Governor is responsible for assisting in making sound decisions concerning the management of sector activities and operations. This role involves offering consultancy to enhance key objectives and strategic indicators within the sector, tracking related activities, projects, and initiatives, and ensuring the existence of accurate frameworks and metrics to assess goal achievement. These efforts contribute to meeting the desired performance standards of the authority.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the enhancement and analysis of sector services, identifying opportunities and areas for their development and improving their presentation and delivery methods.
- Contribute to developing the internal affairs planning work plan, ensuring alignment with the authority’s overall strategy.
- Develop the operational planning and development plan and align it with internal affairs planning and the strategic plan.
- Provide recommendations and suggestions regarding new opportunities for business and service expansion and methods to increase beneficiary satisfaction.
- Execute plans and supply necessary inputs to achieve planning and development objectives that support the authority's comprehensive strategic goals.
- Review reports, pinpoint challenges, and offer consultancy on various significant future issues and initiatives.
- Ensure optimal use of the planning and development budget, producing precise progress reports and documenting encountered challenges.
- Validate initiatives and propose those that yield positive financial results and reduce financial and operational risks related to planning and development.
- Discuss budget requirements for planning and development with senior management and provide inputs for the budget preparation process.
- Follow all relevant unified policies, processes, and operational procedures to ensure correct and consistent work execution.
- Assist in resolving escalated problems and offer necessary support to less experienced teams to ensure efficient work completion.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate person to ensure proper resolution and problem-solving.
- Perform other duties as required by the job.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Management and Organization, or equivalent (mandatory).
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
