About the role
This position is for an Accounts Payable Executive supporting a US-based client in the hospitality domain. The role sits within back-end operations and contributes to hotel management support across accounting-related functions.
Key responsibilities
You will handle core payable operations and related accounting tasks, including invoice review and processing, reconciliation work, petty cash handling, expense analysis, and support for month-end close activities.
- Process invoices and ensure they are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile vendors and resolve payable discrepancies.
- Carry out credit card reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash entries and tracking.
- Review and analyze expenses.
- Support accounts payable ageing analysis.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant is a commerce graduate or equivalent with prior experience in accounts payable. A sound grasp of accounting fundamentals, comfort with Excel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are important for this role. Clear communication skills are also required.
