Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Warehouse and Logistics Administrator to facilitate smooth warehousing and logistics activities at Austal Defence Australia (ADA). This position demands prompt and precise processing of warehouse and logistics tasks in the IFS system, ensuring all procedures meet compliance and traceability standards.
The role includes maintaining data accuracy, supporting receipting for remote warehouses, coordinating stocktake activities, and guaranteeing inventory visibility both on-site and at subcontractor facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute warehouse and logistics transactions accurately and timely in the IFS system
- Handle receipting for inventories maintained by subcontractors remotely
- Verify delivery documentation against purchase orders before receipting
- Monitor receipting backlogs and manage outstanding items efficiently
- Keep inventory records current and aligned with physical stock
- Assist in coordinating stocktake, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving issues
- Organize and maintain documentation to support audits and traceability
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, suppliers, and warehouse teams to resolve operational issues
- Provide both transactional and administrative backing to warehouse operations
- Recognize and raise discrepancies that could impact data integrity or compliance
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in roles related to supply chain, logistics, or administrative support
- Proficiency with ERP software such as IFS, SAP, Pronto, or comparable systems
- Exceptional attention to detail focused on data accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Desirable:
- Exposure to managing inventory across various or remote locations
- Familiarity with purchase order and accounts payable workflows
- Background in manufacturing, defence, or maritime sectors
