Role Overview

We seek a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead and execute clinical development strategies for therapies targeting autoimmune diseases. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all clinical activities comply with governing regulatory standards.
  • Administer clinical budgets focused on efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Provide consistent updates and support to executive leadership and Board communications.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years clinical operations experience within biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Extensive leadership of Phase 1-3 clinical trials utilizing CRO-driven models.
  • Prior experience in small biotech or startup environments.
  • Proven ability to manage strategically and tactically, including hands-on execution.
  • Successful track record managing vendors and meeting aggressive clinical timelines.
  • Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and international clinical trial regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced or nursing degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years leading global clinical teams and external partners.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary range from $290,000 to $325,000, variable by experience, skills, and location. Benefits include performance bonuses, stock options, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, year-end paid time off from December 25 to January 1, comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
