Position Overview

The AA is seeking a meticulous Vehicle Vinner to join their Mobility team based in Auckland. This role focuses on supporting the Vehicle Inspections service by preparing essential paperwork, capturing detailed vehicle information, and fabricating VIN plates and stencils. Collaborating closely with Entry Compliance Inspectors, the Vehicle Vinner ensures seamless inspections while providing exceptional service to Members, partners, and customers.

This position requires hands-on involvement, precision, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the automotive industry. Flexibility to support various AA sites and partner locations within Auckland is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Entry Compliance Inspectors by preparing necessary documentation during inspections.
• Record vehicle features and produce VIN plates and etching stencils.
• Secure VIN plates on vehicles and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and business partners.
• Adhere to professional standards, including dress code, presentation, and safety procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in compliance roles as a vehicle vinner or background in mechanical engineering.
• Strong passion and comprehensive understanding of the automotive sector.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in computer use with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexibly across multiple Auckland sites, including prompt travel as required.
• Possession of a clean full driver’s license with confidence driving.
