About the Role and Organisation
The AA has been supporting New Zealanders for over 120 years, evolving from a motoring club to a prominent organisation serving over a million Members nationwide. What You'll Do
- Deliver expert roadside assistance by diagnosing vehicle faults and providing optimal solutions for Members.
- Operate the Rapid Recovery Vehicle to safely tow immobile vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections before and after towing and ensure vehicles are secured following safety best practices.
- Offer exceptional customer service by keeping Members well-informed and reassured during assistance.
- Promote AA’s products and services to Members to maximize their Membership benefits.
- Use AA’s digital systems and technology such as tablets for processing job details, payments, and documentation.
About You
- Hold an approved Automotive Trade qualification with strong experience in identifying and repairing vehicle faults.
- Possess a full Class 1 driving licence; having a Class 2 licence and NZTA V endorsement is advantageous, with training available.
- Comfortable operating Microsoft software, mobile gadgets, and in-vehicle platforms.
- Committed to high-quality customer service and able to quickly develop rapport.
- Physically fit to handle lifting weights up to 30 kilograms.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
