Position Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking candidates for the role of Fare Filing Distribution Specialist, based in Pune. This full-time position operates on a 24x7 shift cycle and requires comprehensive knowledge in airfare systems and global distribution platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the filing and updating of fares within the ATPCO system utilizing provided data.
- Update rule conditions including eligibility, date/time restrictions, seasonality, flight applicability, combinations, advance purchase rules, negotiated fares, surcharges, blackout periods, automated changes and cancellations, fare-by-rule, footnotes, and routing maps in ATPCO based on given information.
- Handle specialized fare filings such as YQ/YR surcharges, optional and ancillary services, branded fares, and Chart 1 & 2 entries.
- Conduct quality assurance audits within Global Distribution Systems, including Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
- Demonstrate expertise in fare pricing and troubleshooting commands specific to GDS platforms like Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
- Possess good knowledge of world geography and fare construction methodologies.
- Validate fare and rule data for completeness, correctness, and uniformity.
- Detect fare and rule discrepancies between ATPCO and GDS systems.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and procedural updates in ATPCO.
Qualifications and Additional Information
- Minimum education: Completion of 15 years of formal, continuous full-time education (equivalent to 10+2+3 system).
- Work shift pattern covers 24 hours, 7 days a week to support operations.
