Job description
Overview
A reputable biopharmaceutical company based in Cork seeks a proficient Technical Writer to strengthen document control and training management. The role demands producing thorough, compliant, and audit-ready documentation, along with overseeing training coordination and supporting workforce cross-training efforts. This position is exclusively onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of document management systems.
- Create comprehensive, precise documentation compliant with ALCOA principles and quality standards tailored to the audience's needs.
- Function as the Subject Matter Expert for Veeva Quality Documents and Compliance Wire, providing essential user support.
- Author, review, and approve a variety of documents including BPDs, SOPs, technical protocols, reports, forms, and work instructions.
- Collaborate closely with technical specialists to thoroughly understand products and business processes ensuring accurate records.
- Employ strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and motivate various teams.
- Introduce enhancements to the technical writing workflow, including the design of advanced document templates.
- Assist with Technical Writing initiatives across the site through cooperation with departmental experts.
- Oversee document migration into Veeva Quality Documents and initiate necessary Change Requests.
- Support global training and business operations by developing training content such as guides and e-learning modules tailored to identified learning needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possesses a tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering, or significant equivalent expertise in technical writing.
- At least three years' experience producing technical documentation within a regulated industry.
