Position Summary
Modern Family Law, a boutique firm specialized in Family Law, seeks a compassionate and detail-driven Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join its remote team. The firm values a family-centered culture, offering competitive compensation and diverse benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the entire interview process from recruiter phone screening through final interviews, managing scheduling and candidate communications.
- Prepare, revise, and distribute employment offer letters and coordinate pre-employment activities like background checks and HR transitions.
- Create, update, post, and close job requisitions while maintaining recruiting documentation, templates, and resources.
- Ensure accurate and current candidate data and recruiting activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support recruiters and hiring managers throughout recruiting stages and assist with recruiting projects and process enhancements.
- Maintain ATS data integrity by auditing records, updating workflows, and assisting with reporting and system improvements.
- Conduct talent market research for family law attorneys via legal directories, bar associations, CLE events, and other professional sources in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Director.
- Develop and maintain recruiting playbooks, SOPs, and implement new recruiting tools and programs to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Reduce recruiter administrative workload enabling them to focus on sourcing and relationship building with legal professionals.
Success Milestones Within First 90 Days
- Establish strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, human resources, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage interview scheduling, offer administration, background checks, and onboarding processes accurately and promptly.
- Maintain precise ATS data and provide dependable recruiting reports.
- Maintain consistent candidate communication to improve offer acceptance rates and onboarding completion.
- Collaborate on talent research resources to support proactive attorney recruitment efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- Remote work capability with reliable internet and efficient home workstation during business hours.
- 2 to 4 years of experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, Human Resources, or recruitment coordination.
- Familiarity and experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Zoom platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional time management, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Preferably experienced in recruiting within professional services or legal fields.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and online research preferred.
- Knowledge of legal directories and bar associations is an advantage.

Additional Information
All candidates must comply with ADA accommodations as needed by notifying the Director of People & Culture. Compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $77,000 annually in California, adjusted based on experience, location, and job-related factors as legally permissible.
