Supply Chain and Logistics Operations Manager

Overview

The Supply Chain and Logistics Operations Manager plays a vital role in managing day-to-day supply chain activities, focusing mainly on outbound logistics and order fulfillment, while collaborating closely with the Director of Operations on inbound logistics. This position acts as the central coordinator between internal departments, freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and leading wholesale customers to guarantee efficient product movement, inventory transparency, and punctual order delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee open orders from acceptance through shipment and final delivery ensuring target timelines are met.
• Ensure precise and timely fulfillment of orders for wholesale, off-price, club, and mass-market clients.
• Manage routing, scheduling, and shipment operations with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics collaborators.
• Serve as the main operational liaison for 3PL partners and essential wholesale accounts.
• Identify and resolve shipping delays, routing challenges, chargebacks, and any service interruptions proactively.
• Track order flow and inventory status to meet customer delivery needs.

• Coordinate with the Director of Operations on inbound logistics, import processes, and inventory planning.
• Collaborate with sourcing, production, customer service, sales, and warehouse teams for seamless execution across the supply chain.
• Analyze key performance indicators related to fulfillment, transportation, inventory, and service quality.
• Design and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency, cut costs, and elevate service delivery.

• Lead and develop a team comprising 2 Allocators, an Import Coordinator, and Overseas Order Entry Coordinators.
• Set clear performance goals and promote accountability within the team.
• Promote effective communication and coordination between domestic and international operations units.

• Build and maintain robust relationships with wholesale clients, 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and transport vendors.
• Handle escalations related to operational issues impacting delivery performance.
• Ensure adherence to retailer routing rules and shipping standards.

• Leverage the AMT ERP system for order management, inventory tracking, and operational reporting.
• Produce and review reports on order status, inventory allocation, shipments, and logistics performance.
• Suggest system and workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or order fulfillment management.
• Proven experience leading teams in wholesale, consumer goods, apparel, or related sectors.
• Strong track record supporting mass-market, mid-tier, off-price, or club channel customers.
• Experience collaborating directly with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers.
• Knowledge of import/export logistics, transportation management, and order allocation.
• Proficient in ERP systems, specifically experience with AMT ERP highly favorable.
• Advanced skills in Excel and data reporting.

• Preferred: Experience serving Walmart and other national retail giants.
• Familiarity with retailer compliance, routing guides, and chargeback mitigation.
• Background in apparel, footwear, accessories, or consumer products industries.
• Demonstrated capability to enhance supply chain processes and operational results.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
