Role overview
This full-time role in Saudi Arabia focuses on integration and solution development for mission-critical grid software and Energy Management System environments. The position involves building interfaces and web services that connect different utility systems.
Technical and functional requirements
- Hands-on exposure to Apache technologies, especially Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, and Axis.
- Background in integrating with ESB/IBUS platforms such as Fuse ESB, Tibco, and WebSphere.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL.
- Experience developing pure Java applications and Java middleware business logic.
- At least 5 years of software development experience on Windows and/or Linux.
- At least 7 years of experience working with C/C++, KSH, and Java.
- Experience creating WSDLs and XSDs.
- Prior involvement in Grid applications such as SCAD, ADMS, EMS, or OMS.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and rollout of critical grid and energy management software.
- Design and build software interfaces and web services for linking utility platforms and systems.
