Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is conducting a walk-in hiring drive in Chennai for an SAP WM specialist. The position calls for hands-on experience in warehouse management implementations and a strong understanding of related SAP supply chain processes.
Experience
Applicants should have 4 to 19 years of relevant experience.
Key Requirements
- Practical exposure to at least one SAP implementation project is required.
- Solid knowledge of logistics execution, procurement, and inventory management processes is expected.
- Hands-on capability in SAP WM configuration and core warehouse management concepts is necessary, including warehouse structural design, stock removal control, posting changes, internal procurement flows, and WM-enabled delivery processes.
- Familiarity with storage unit management, RFID, and decentralized WM setups is required.
- Working knowledge of interface technologies such as IDoc and RFC is needed.
- A strong grasp of how SAP MM-WM integrates with SAP SD, PS, FI, and PP modules is essential.
