Job Overview
This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Abu Dhabi for a Shift Brick Layer within the steel manufacturing sector. The role is intended for a government client on a direct-hire contract basis.
Role Summary
The position focuses on coordinating with the team to plan and execute refractory lining work for ladles, EAFs, and tundishes. The work must be carried out carefully to support safe and effective hot-process vessel operations.
Experience and Education
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working as a brick layer or mason in a steel plant. The required qualification is Higher Secondary School or ITI.
Working Pattern
The job follows a 6-day work week.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned tasks in line with supervisor instructions and production needs.
- Make sure the machinery, consumables, and tools needed for refractory activities are available in sufficient quantity.
- Carry out hot-vessel lining work with high attention to detail, following work instructions and supervisor guidance.
- Report any unusual issues noticed during the job and take direction from the supervisor before proceeding.
