About the Company and Project
Our partner is one of Ireland's foremost renewable energy contractors, renowned for delivering large-scale utility renewable projects, including solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid infrastructure, and renewable power generation. With multiple major contracts awarded across Ireland, they are expanding rapidly and focus on constructing high-quality sustainable energy infrastructure.
They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major utility-scale solar farm project in Dublin, overseeing the entire process from construction to commissioning and handover.
Role Overview
As Senior Project Manager reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors, and nurture strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Your primary goal is to ensure project success by delivering safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the turnkey delivery of a large-scale solar farm, from construction start through commissioning and handover.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and project staff.
- Develop and execute project strategies to meet program targets, quality standards, and financial goals.
- Track project progress and ensure milestones are consistently met.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial aspects in partnership with the commercial team.
- Maintain productive relationships with clients, consultants, utility providers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
- Identify risks proactively and deploy mitigation actions.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Lead project meetings and provide status reports to senior leadership.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing major infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally as Project Lead, Senior Project Manager, or Construction Manager.
- Specific knowledge delivering utility-scale solar farms, renewable power, civil engineering, or other infrastructure initiatives.
- Solid understanding of project planning, commercial management, and construction execution.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and subcontractor management.
- Excellent client engagement and stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong health, safety, and quality management awareness.
- Consistent history of delivering projects safely, on time, and within financial parameters.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation with bodies such as Engineers Ireland, CIOB, ICE, or equivalent is desired.
- Familiarity with Irish utility regulations and renewable energy sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and commercial management proficiencies.
- Experience with grid connection projects or battery energy storage systems is advantageous.
