Overview
Pinkerton, a global leader with over 170 years of experience in risk management, is dedicated to protecting clients through tailored enterprise security programs. The Security Enablement Officer role involves comprehensive monitoring and reporting activities related to security equipment, alarms, intelligence, and incident management, coordinated with local client security teams and service partners.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Pinkerton's values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all duties.
- Provide support during local events and security incident resolution, promptly identifying and communicating potential security threats at assigned locations.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC) by sharing incident information and assisting with employee security concerns.
- Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports for various events encountered during shifts.
- Respond immediately to critical incidents such as fires or violent events, ensuring safety and proper management.
- Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders to provide employee security support.
- Perform additional assigned duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Minimum two years of experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) within a reputable organization.
- Certifications or training in GSOC/command centre/control room operations are advantageous.
- Additional certifications in risk management, crisis management, and advanced computer proficiency are beneficial.
- Solid understanding of security technology and applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, capable of preparing concise and visually clear reports.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and local languages relevant to the Operational Centre location.
- Reliable, disciplined, punctual, honest, and able to manage high-pressure situations with swift decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working Conditions
- Role requires regular use of computers and operating office equipment.
- Occasional reaching, lifting small objects, standing, sitting, and walking throughout shifts.
- Travel may be necessary as part of job responsibilities.
