Role overview
Maybank is hiring a detail-focused Executive to support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function with regulatory reporting under MAS Notice 637. The role centers on preparing accurate and timely Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 submissions while coordinating with internal teams and Group stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Compile and file MAS 637 Pillar 1 reports each month and Pillar 3 disclosures every quarter.
- Pull, process, and analyze reporting data using SQL and Microsoft Copilot.
- Submit the required regulatory reports and supporting schedules through the appropriate MAS systems.
- Work with Group teams and internal stakeholders to secure source data and close reporting gaps or issues.
- Review changes in data and investigate any mismatches or unusual reporting variances.
- Contribute to system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and workflow enhancements linked to MAS 637 reporting.
- Take on other ad hoc tasks and provide general operational support to the ERM team.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in risk management, finance, regulatory reporting, or data analytics.
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic data extraction methods.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot and prompt engineering would be beneficial.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Sound understanding of financial accounting fundamentals.
- Familiarity with MAS Notice 637 would be an added advantage.
