Role overview

Maybank is hiring a detail-focused Executive to support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function with regulatory reporting under MAS Notice 637. The role centers on preparing accurate and timely Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 submissions while coordinating with internal teams and Group stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and file MAS 637 Pillar 1 reports each month and Pillar 3 disclosures every quarter.
• Pull, process, and analyze reporting data using SQL and Microsoft Copilot.
• Submit the required regulatory reports and supporting schedules through the appropriate MAS systems.
• Work with Group teams and internal stakeholders to secure source data and close reporting gaps or issues.
• Review changes in data and investigate any mismatches or unusual reporting variances.
• Contribute to system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and workflow enhancements linked to MAS 637 reporting.
• Take on other ad hoc tasks and provide general operational support to the ERM team.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in risk management, finance, regulatory reporting, or data analytics.
• Working knowledge of SQL and basic data extraction methods.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot and prompt engineering would be beneficial.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
• Sound understanding of financial accounting fundamentals.
• Familiarity with MAS Notice 637 would be an added advantage.
