Overview
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious hospitality venue located in The Burren, County Clare. This position is perfect for a hospitality expert who excels in leadership, is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, and possesses comprehensive knowledge of wine and food service.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations efficiently.
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team members.
- Maintain superior guest service standards and operational quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and management staff.
- Manage reservations, staff scheduling, and customer relations.
- Assist with budgeting, inventory control, and overall financial management.
- Develop and maintain the restaurant’s wine program, including wine service, pairings, and stock management.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager position or a senior supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of wine and experience with wine service.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- WSET Level 2 or 3 certification.
- Experience working in luxury hotels, fine dining settings, or establishments recognized by Michelin.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range €40,000 to €44,000, depending on experience.
- Subsidized accommodation available at €95 weekly.
