About the Role
Evolve Psychiatry is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Remote Therapist Receptionist to join their expanding team of licensed therapists. This position acts as the main administrative liaison for therapy patients, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from their initial contact through ongoing treatment sessions.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
- Manage scheduling tasks including setting, confirming, and adjusting appointments via the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Verify patients' insurance details and handle copayment collections.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with therapists, patients, and internal staff members.
- Protect sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality and discretion.
Qualifications
- Prior work experience as a medical receptionist, ideally supporting therapists directly.
- Background in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records software and solid computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
