About the Opportunity

This role is for an experienced HR leader who can guide people operations through a period of rapid growth. The position is hands-on and generalist in nature, with responsibility for managing the employee journey from start to finish while working closely with leadership to create scalable processes and a strong employee experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance and payroll processes across multiple states, including running end-to-end payroll in Rippling and keeping records prepared for audit review.
  • Lead recruitment activities from drafting job descriptions through sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding high-quality hires.
  • Handle employee experience programs by managing benefits, supporting engagement initiatives, and helping employees grow professionally.
  • Act as the main HR partner for managers by advising them on performance management, policy interpretation, and people-related coaching.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, including at least 2 years working as a generalist with ownership of several HR functions.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws in California and Arizona is required.
  • Experience with Rippling HRIS is preferred.
  • Background in a fast-growing company or startup is preferred.
  • Must be available to work full time during Pacific Time business hours.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated sectors is highly valued.

Compensation & Benefits
