Role Overview

The Remittance Marketing Officer is tasked with accrediting, promoting, managing, and supervising remittance partnerships, agents, and tie-ups within a designated territory to meet the bank’s marketing and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authorize new prospective partners, agents, and tie-ups according to the bank’s accreditation standards.

  • Conduct periodic evaluations of partner and agent performance based on business volume and reporting obligations.
  • Represent the bank officially at events requiring its presence or partner marketing activities.
  • Provide support for partners in relationship issues, inquiries, and service needs, coordinating prompt resolution of complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance of partners and agents with applicable laws, regulatory policies, and reportorial requirements.
  • Coordinate with partners on new bank services and system improvements.
  • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory and internal reports including AMLA, BSP, remittance volume, revenue MIS, and partner performance.
  • Oversee adherence to local and host country regulations and internal bank policies during operations.
  • Ensure timely remittance settlements through partners and agents.
  • Supervise daily operations of remittance partnerships while coordinating with Remittance Operations for prompt processing of transactions.
  • Provide regular updates via call reports about marketing initiatives.
  • Test and assess new features and system enhancements related to remittance services.
  • Maintain proficiency with remittance system usage, installation, basic troubleshooting, and train personnel from partners and agents.
  • Submit timely administrative requirements including reimbursements, weekly activity reports, and leave applications.
  • Undertake other assigned duties as needed.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • Possess 5 to 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, and remittance processing, including at least one year in the local remittance sector.
  • Preference given to Singaporean citizens or Permanent Residents.
