Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinator focused on facilities to assist Project Managers with coordinating maintenance and capital improvement projects. This role will encompass both administrative duties and operational assistance necessary for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to oversee facility maintenance and capital projects, supporting various administrative and operational tasks.
- Assist in procurement processes including vendor coordination and help track project costs and maintenance budgets.
- Monitor and update project schedules ensuring timely delivery of facility-related work.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation such as shop drawings, requests for information, change notices, and as-built records.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, building occupants, and maintenance staff.
- Support site inspections, quality control activities, and track maintenance and repair progress.
- Provide clarifications on drawings, specifications, and maintenance instructions to contractors and service providers.
- Identify and resolve conflicts involving building systems across structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines in coordination with consultants and vendors.
- Ensure all facility projects comply with legal building codes, safety regulations, and organizational standards.
- Keep detailed records of ongoing and completed work, assisting in the preparation of project reports and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possession of an engineering diploma in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines, or equivalent project coordination experience.
- Experience in managing subcontractor coordination and procurement is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve project completion goals.
Compensation and Culture
