People Strategy Consultant

Overview

We are presenting a consulting opportunity for the role of People Strategy Consultant, based in the United States. This position involves partnering with a growing technology company to influence and enhance strategic people operations initiatives.

The consultant will be responsible for delivering high-impact projects centered on improving employee experience, managing performance systems, designing policies, and increasing operational efficiency. The role demands crafting practical frameworks and documentation that support scalable people management practices.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and document frameworks for employee relations, including clear policies, escalation processes, and resource materials.
• Develop materials and training for annual performance reviews and merit cycles to enable stakeholder comprehension.
• Prepare comprehensive playbooks and operational documentation to foster consistency and facilitate scalability in people processes.
• Construct calibration frameworks and visualization tools to align team performances effectively.
• Review current people partner procedures to identify opportunities for integration of AI, automation, and process improvements.
• Maintain and update people toolkits, enablement content, and reference guides reflecting the latest best practices.
• Conduct thorough policy evaluations, providing actionable recommendations and revised documentation.
• Independently oversee project plans, deliverables, and timelines while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize data analysis and strategic insights to enhance people processes and evaluate their impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record in delivering people operations projects, including employee relations, performance reviews, calibration, and operational documentation.
• Experience with scaling organizations in technology, SaaS, or high-growth sectors is a plus.
• Capacity to autonomously manage consulting engagements, ensuring timely delivery of quality outcomes.
• Exceptional writing skills capable of producing clear, structured, and persuasive business documents.
• Skilled in designing and conducting training programs for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management abilities and data-driven decision-making competence.
• Experience in culture development, leadership initiatives, and building high-performance teams.
• Expertise in evaluating and streamlining HR processes, including the application of AI-powered tools and automation.
• Ability to review policies and generate actionable documents aligned with organizational needs.
• High emotional intelligence, quick rapport building, and trust development with stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred experience includes maintaining an established consulting practice or offering services to multiple clients.
