Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for a growing accountancy business in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The role offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 and includes hybrid working after probation. The organisation is expanding following a recent acquisition and is investing in its people, systems, and client services.
This opportunity sits within an established payroll team that supports a varied client base, from small and medium-sized businesses to larger organisations across multiple sectors. It is a chance to manage your own client portfolio while being part of a business in a strong growth phase.
What you'll do
- Handle weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll runs for your assigned clients.
- Administer statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP.
- Respond to payroll questions and support your own client portfolio.
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to maintain a high standard of service.
- Work alongside a supportive team during a period of ongoing business growth.
