About the Role
This position is available to employees of both Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, part of the South East Sector Health Care Partnership. We are inviting applications for a Payroll Officer role at Band 4 level, offering full-time permanent employment (37.5 hours per week). The role involves joining a dynamic Payroll team that is committed to innovation and enhancement to improve payroll processing and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team responsible for the prompt and accurate execution of both weekly and monthly payroll operations for Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This includes generating regular data quality reports and conducting monthly audits related to contractual matters like maternity leave and fixed-term contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and meeting all payroll deadlines.
Working Environment
The Payroll Department adopts a hybrid working model, balancing remote work with office presence, supported by predominantly virtual management to promote flexibility and work-life balance.
