Role Overview
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will experience a collaborative culture fostering daily support and empowerment. This position centers on Pain Management and Vocational Rehabilitation in Wellington, requiring clinical expertise and adaptive care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace assessments and develop graduated return-to-work plans along with task analysis.
- Navigate vocational service pathways to support clients effectively.
- Deliver rehabilitation services within community settings and foster multidisciplinary teamwork to meet client rehab objectives.
- Engage with community service pathways and contribute to return-to-work programs.
- Participate within inter-disciplinary teams addressing persistent pain, emphasizing behaviour change, pacing, and self-management education.
- Apply biopsychosocial approaches to care methodologies.
- Offer client-centred rehabilitation, maintaining clear communication with clients, families (whanau), and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Passion for making a meaningful difference with an emphasis on superior care quality.
- Strong clinical reasoning and flexibility in handling varied client needs.
- Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in vocational rehabilitation and/or at least 3 years in interdisciplinary pain management settings.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
