Role Summary
We are recruiting for a client that is looking for a Member of Technical Staff focused on Frontier AI. This is a full-time remote role for someone who wants to contribute to advanced AI research and engineering at the leading edge of the field.
Work Location and Type
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere. It is a full-time opportunity.
Compensation
The role offers annual pay in the range of $600K to $2000K.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and improve advanced AI architectures and algorithms.
- Drive research work aimed at increasing model scale, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to move AI capabilities into production environments.
- Document discoveries through technical write-ups, whitepapers, or conference-ready material.
- Test and compare new models, frameworks, and AI hardware platforms and accelerators.
Required Background and Skills
- A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Strong practical experience with deep learning tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of distributed training at scale and model optimization methods.
- Exposure to AI hardware and accelerator systems, including GPUs and TPUs.
- Ability to independently lead research and deliver technical projects.
- Working knowledge of reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability for complex AI workflows.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical ideas to different audiences.
