Assignment Overview
This part-time, ongoing teaching position involves instructing Math and Science to students in grades 8 through 12. The role represents 57.1% of a full-time equivalent position and is slated to begin on September 1, 2026.
Compensation
Salary is determined according to the district's current pay scale and is adjusted based on verification of your British Columbia Teaching Qualifications Service (TQS) certification and prior years of teaching experience. The annual salary range spans from $63,347 to $116,190, distributed over 10 months and prorated to reflect the part-time assignment.
Required Credentials
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (note: this role does not qualify for an LMIA-supported job offer).
- Possess a valid British Columbia Teaching Certificate recognized by the Teacher Regulation Branch.
- Have training and practical experience teaching Math and Science subjects at the secondary education level.
