Job description
Position Overview
This role involves the routine upkeep and maintenance of facility infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations. The position is full-time and based onsite in Dugald, Manitoba, Canada. The hourly pay range is between $25 and $35, determined by skills, qualifications, and experience.

Core Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as changing lighting fixtures, carpentry, painting, minor drywall, plumbing, and tile repairs.
- Repair and install drywall to maintain wall integrity.
- Inspect facility and furniture for defects or malfunctions, undertaking required repairs.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks like window and door repairs, installation of curtain poles, tracks, and shelves.
- Perform custodial and administrative duties as assigned.
- Carry out preventative maintenance including mechanical rounds and equipment testing.
- Organize room setups and rearrange furniture as needed.
- Update and service maintenance work orders using online ticketing systems.
- Engage in cleaning, restocking supplies, sanitization, and general building repair tasks.
- Provide front desk and postal support coverage when required.
Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical fitness to perform duties involving heavy lifting and extensive walking.
- Familiarity and competence operating manual and electric maintenance tools.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail with multitasking ability.
- Awareness or training in equipment safety, site safety protocols, fire prevention, and work regulations.
- Basic computer skills necessary for communication and work order management.
