Role Overview

This exciting role as a Lifeguard involves working in an energetic and friendly environment alongside like-minded colleagues. The position is ideal for individuals who are safety conscious, competent swimmers, and wish to develop valuable life skills, even if they do not currently hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). We offer continuous training and development to help you achieve this qualification.

This role can be a stepping stone to varied career paths within Places Leisure, including operational management, sales, fitness, or customer service. We provide ongoing training and competency evaluations, along with opportunities for first aid certification, swimming instructor qualifications, and apprenticeship programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patrons and fellow lifeguards at swimming pool facilities ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain operational safety and uphold the health and safety standards of all pool users.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to guarantee customer safety during facility use.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and a friendly demeanor, aiming to exceed service standards.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards within the facility as required.

Requirements

• Possession of a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
