Laundry Worker

Position Overview

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Laundry Worker and contribute to ensuring the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens and personal clothing efficiently and safely.
• Operate laundry machinery in compliance with safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of laundry operations and promptly notify supervisors of maintenance or safety concerns.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and universal precautions to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Engage professionally and courteously with residents, staff, and visitors to provide excellent service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in laundry services is an asset but not required.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership teams.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for long durations.
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and following oral and written instructions accurately.
• Reside within the service area's geographic boundaries.
