What the role involves

• Carry out routine housekeeping duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and disinfect spaces according to established procedures and safety expectations.
• Track completed cleaning work and escalate maintenance concerns or safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Apply infection-control practices and universal precautions to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with residents, employees, and guests.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Required qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is needed.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
• You should be able to communicate well with residents, facility staff, administration, and HCSG leadership while keeping a positive attitude.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is expected.
• The work requires physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• The job involves repetitive tasks performed continuously.
• You should be comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and products.
• You must be able to follow both spoken and written instructions and complete routine tasks consistently.
• Residency within the service area is required.
