Role Overview

The HR Specialist position is a full-time, onsite role based in Doha, Qatar. The individual will oversee daily HR activities such as maintaining employee records, administering policies, and supporting key employment stages including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. Responsibilities include managing employee benefits, aiding performance management, and ensuring adherence to local labor laws and internal guidelines. The role also involves addressing personnel queries, managing HR documentation, and collaborating with leadership to cultivate a supportive and effective workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Human Resources principles and operational practices.
• Proficient knowledge of HR policies and employee benefit schemes, including development and compliance with local labor legislation.
• Experience handling employee relations, performance assistance, and accurate record maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for a diverse cultural setting.
• High organizational ability, meticulous attention to detail, and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.
• Competence in HR information systems and common office software; awareness of Qatar labor laws is advantageous.
• Experience working in HR within Qatar or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) area is favorable but not mandatory.
