About the opportunity
The Canberra office is seeking a Graduate Project Planner (Analyst) to join the team in an entry-level consulting role. This position offers practical exposure to major projects and the chance to learn directly from experienced industry professionals.
This role is suited to someone interested in building a consulting career where the work is varied and fast-paced. TBH works across planning and scheduling, project controls, cost management, claims and dispute resolution, and risk management, giving the successful candidate exposure to a wide range of project environments and industries.
With support and mentoring from senior consultants, you will help with research, analysis, reporting, and the preparation of client-facing outputs. You will also gain hands-on experience in project controls, scheduling, and consulting while contributing to meaningful work from the start.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with implementing project plans and support delivery activities under senior guidance.
- Research, assess, and interpret project data to assist with reporting and client deliverables.
- Produce polished documentation such as reports, schedules, and presentations.
- Use project controls methods to help identify issues and support practical solutions.
- Work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to support project outcomes.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and help with general administrative tasks when needed.
What you will bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Some exposure to project scheduling or project controls.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Comfort using Microsoft applications and related software, preferably with prior experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for report preparation.
- Good organisational ability and time management, with the capacity to juggle competing priorities.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
- A professional, dependable, and client-oriented attitude.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
