Overview
This opportunity is for a Graduate Project Manager with a construction consultancy based in Dublin city center. The company specialises in real estate development and manages significant projects spanning commercial offices, residential buildings, hospitality, and logistics sectors. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive graduate salary package and benefits, with a working arrangement split between office, remote, and site visits.
Role Description
As a Graduate Project Manager, you will support the leadership team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to construction and completion. Your responsibilities include supporting senior project managers in tracking progress, managing schedules, reporting, and maintaining communication among various stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and public authorities. You will also assist with commercial aspects such as cost control, procurement, contracts, and value engineering. The role offers direct involvement in site meetings and design reviews, providing exposure to practical site and engineering challenges, as well as contract administration duties including acting as Employer's Representative under standard contract forms.
Candidate Profile
- Recent honours degree (Level 8 or above) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or other relevant built environment fields; possession of a Master's degree is viewed favorably.
- Strong motivation and an earnest interest in the commercial and strategic elements critical to effective project delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, confident in engaging with diverse teams and asking insightful questions.
- Previous internship or work experience with contractors, consultancies, or developers is preferred but not mandatory.
