Job Overview
In the Project Manager role, you will assume full accountability for managing a significant project or multiple sites, ensuring the adherence to company processes and procedures. You will coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, engineers, foremen, and quantity surveyors. Your responsibilities encompass all phases of the project lifecycle from initial planning and design development to execution and final handover. You will guide and supervise design teams, subcontractors, and operational personnel to deliver projects on schedule, within financial plans, and to exceptional standards.
Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards will be essential to foster a safety-first culture onsite. You will also be responsible for preparing weekly work schedules, progress reports, and leading management meetings, ensuring that commercial and budget goals are met.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Experience transitioning from a senior engineer role to project manager level.
- Practical and essential experience with insitu frame construction, along with a solid understanding of civil works and construction methodologies.
- Possession of a trade qualification or demonstrable practical experience in construction.
- Proven track record of managing projects within construction or civil engineering sectors.
- Strong commercial insight accompanied by leadership and effective communication skills.
