About the Role
Located at BYD Nelson, 150 Rutherford Street, Nelson, this full-time, permanent position offers an exciting career opportunity for passionate individuals driven by sales and customer engagement within the automotive sector. As a Vehicle Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in expanding our sales footprint, handling both new and used vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Showcase our diverse vehicle inventory to prospective customers effectively.
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements to consistently meet or surpass set sales targets.
- Deliver superior customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Keep updated with the latest industry trends and product developments.
- Participate in company fleet visits and roadshows across the Top of the South region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, businesses, and organizations.
- Identify fleet sales opportunities and tailor solutions to client needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven negotiation prowess and deal-closing capability.
- Ability to prospect and secure new business leads.
- Driven by goals with a dedication to exceeding objectives.
- Dependable, organized, detail-aware, with excellent time management.
- Enthusiasm for automobiles and readiness to learn about our products.
- Competent in computer usage.
- Possession of a full New Zealand driver’s license.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand through residency or valid work visa.
